The bedroom area includesall the amenities to be found in all of our guestrooms and is attached to a bathroom with a multi-nozzle, walk-in shower. The living room portion of the suite features its own 42” flat screen TV along with a sofa and two chairs. On average, these suites are approximately 650 square feet (60 square meters) and are interspersed throughout the building for a variety of views and layouts.
A step above the King Suites, our Luxury Suites offer a classically elegant residential environment with the trappings of a modern luxury hotel. Averaging 820 square feet (76 square meters), these suites offer all the enhanced décor and amenities to be found in the King Suites with even more space and greater separation amongst the sleeping and living areas. All Luxury Suites feature sofas that convert to Queen-sized pull-out beds.
The Waldorf Suites are among the largest suites in the city and harken back to the era of opulent dwellings found in the original Waldorf Hotel in New York City. Indeed, at an average of 1,300 square feet (121 square meters), these suites are residential in feel and are, in essence, what other hotels might term Presidential Suites.
As with all suites at the Roosevelt, the Waldorfs feature distinct and separate quarters; the parlor includes a dining area with table that seats six and an expansive seating area with a sofa that pulls out into Queen sized bed. With a couple of exceptions, each parlor area also has a half-bath, which is convenient when entertaining.
The bedroom features one King bed and is separated by luxurious French doors. The bathroom attaches to the bedroom area and most bathrooms feature a separate tub and walk-in shower, although a few suites only have a shower/tub combo and no separate walk-in shower.
For the most luxurious of stays, the Astoria Suites truly restore the era of gradeur and splendor. Secluded along a private hallway on the second floor, each of these six suites is arranged in the traditional “shotgun” style of a New Orleans home and vary from 800 square feet (74 square meters) all the way up to 1,350 square feet (125 square meters).
Each suite is divided into separate living and sleeping areas with large bay windows and bathrooms that feature clawfoot tubs and separate roll-in shower. All amenities and accoutrements found in all rooms are of course to be found in the Astoria Suites.
